Glitter Glitter all around!!!

Well Hellooooooo everyone and I hope you are all well!!!!

What a day today!!!

Firstly today was my first demonstration for the March and April promotion and for this I was visiting the Glitterpot... so maybe not quite Glitter Glitter all around but The Glitterpot was  certainly all around me today!!!... such crafting temptation for one and all...

It was such a busy day during which I renewed old aquaintances and met new crafters... I saw so much excitement today with all the stunning new ranges - All Aboard, Forever Friends Kraft Notes and the long awaited Gorjuss range...

WOW!!!!

Did everyone LOVE all these little crumbs of crafting yumminess??? You BETCHA they did!!!!

I get such a buzz seeing you all as excited about crafting as I am!!!  It makes my job such an absolute pleasure to do!!!!

Now, of course it is no surprise to anyone who knows me that I am just in LURVE with the Gorjuss collection.... I've worked extensively with it over the past couple of months producing projects for the Docrafts stands at CHA and Frankfurt trade fairs and what's more I had a HUGE bundle of fun designing and writing the feature for this range in Creativity magazine...

Today I created a little scene using the papers - the paler shades of blue and green make a perfect background as you will see - and I used Xcut nesting dies and the iconic Gorjuss stripes background papers to add a tree in the distance.  You could use any of the characters within the Ultimate and standard decoupage packs as the focal point of the design but I love the outdoorsy feel of this little Gorjuss girl with her furry bunny companion...

To decorate I added a tag sentiment, fluttering butterfly and a heart balloon (floating in the air on a wire string) - all of these embellishments were taken from the simply divine interior packaging of the elements of the collection.... all designed specifically to make sure you can use every single bit of your purchase with little if anything tossed into the bin....  I wish you could see mine - it's certainly been used but most certainly NOT abused, instead lovingly added to a myriad of projects designed over recent weeks....

All finished off with lashings of Gorjuss Baker's Twine and Hemp cord and a touch of sparkle to highlight her blushing cheeks...

SIMPLY ADORABLE!!!

I'll make sure over the next couple of days I take a picture of the sumptuous interior of one of these packets just so you can see that it is designed to be beautiful both inside and out....

So here are the pictures of the first of today's makes, which I hope will inspire you to go and create something similar... if you do why not leave a comment on this post with a link onto a picture on your own blog or gallery so that I can hop over, enjoy your creation and leave you a comment in return!!!  I can't wait to see what you come up with!

I've got three busy days ahead of me finishing off commissions so I'm about to relax with a little crafty inspiration courtesy of Scrap365....

So until tomorrow as my mom, dad and I used to say when I was a little girl

"Night Night,
Sleep tight,
Sweet Dreams,
God Bless"

May your dreams tonight be full of wonderful crafting inspiration...

With lots of love
Becky

  3. Hi Becky
lovely to meet you yesterday, it was so lovely to see all your creation's, the magazine really does not show how beautiful they are I.R.L. (I was the one sharing with you what I had done for my Granddaughter's Bday party). After seeing ALL your lovely creation's, I JUST had to buy a few (a lot) lol, of the Gorguss collection for my Granddaughter's from the Glitter Pot. I had such a fun time yesterday evening leafing through ALL my purchase's, (only problem being) I was so engrossed with all my Gorgeousness, that I didn't see an eagle eyed Hubby weighing up what I had bought, thinking on my feet I said it's not for me it's for Charlotte's Bday, to which he replied, that's not until November. We both had a laugh over it, he is such a lovely man he never complain's about what I spend on my crafting, so I know how VERY lucky I am.
    hugs
