Is this now a habit?

Hellooooo Everyone

I hope you are well this evening and have had a great day.  What crafty bits and pieces have you been up to today?

Well they say that you have to do something 21 times for it to become a habit and tonight I am writing my twenty-first post - one a night for three weeks... I never intended to make this a daily thing when I started blogging but after my first post I found each day something would happen or a project would pop into mind and there, without even thinking about it, my next theme had presented itself. And suddenly my blogging habit was formed...

One habit I seem to have formed so far with my January demonstrations is that the first range I reach for is the Chronology range... Every single time I pick it up I see something different I can do with it....

Another recurring theme for me at the moment is certainly Hot Air Balloons.  On a post a couple of weeks ago I talked about the Xcut Build A Scene Hot Air Balloon Die and today I have married a few of the elements of this set (clouds, birds and bunting decoration from the balloons) with the Chronology Hot Air Balloon Decoupage.  I love this pack as it has been printed onto a neutral, matte background allowing you to add your own colour to suit and features gorgeous 3d balloons and pocket watches.

I hope that you like scene I put together for this card and that it inspires you to play around with this gorgeous, bold decorative range.

And here are a couple of close ups so you can see the detail...

I'd love to know what you think and how you have been using the Chronology range yourself!

Until tomorrow, take care all

  1. This isn't really my style, but I'm finding that it has little touches that draw my eye. I like the way you've framed your central panel and the screw head brads, and how you've used the gems.
