Great Weather for Snowmen!!!!

Good Evening everyone!!!

Hope you are warm and snug on this incredibly cold day today!

So what have you been up to?  Did you get to work? Were you stuck at home? Has it even snowed by you today - by all accounts there are some areas that haven't been grabbed by snow fever?  If you were, did you go out sledging, making snowmen or snow angels or did you stay indoors with hot chocolate and make an excuse to do some extra crafting???

As you can see we have had a little sprinkling... This was earlier on this afternoon but we had heavy fall again during this afternoon and it seems to be starting to snow again here now!

As I type (though obviously not exactly at the same time as I do only have one pair of hands - I just correct that because I originally typed "two pairs of hands" which actually is wishful thinking!) I am making sure all my demonstration kit is ready - I have two demonstrations booked this weekend!  Both are at The Ranges stores - tomorrow in Southampton and on Sunday in Gosport - and I do hope that I am able to get there!!!

Anyway, with the day's weather in mind I have re-arranged my posts a little and moved a project I had in mind for today back a little!  I wanted to share tonight a project in honour of today's weather so I have chosen a little christmas project that I designed at a lovely weekday demo at the Materials Craft Bank in Portsmouth in December... the sprinkling of glitter across this design perfectly reflects the sparkly white stuff that is lying across the country!

The products I have used are all available from docrafts stockists so do give them a quick visit to pick up these gorgeous goodies:

Papermania: Capsule Collection 8x8 papers (Bexley Black)/ Paperazzi (Lincoln Linen)/ Daisy Chains (Lincoln Linen); Home for Christmas Ribbon Bow; gold and silver jingle bells; foiled christmas die cut greetings

Anita's: Glitterations Snowflakes - white

Xcut: Leaf Nesting dies

Cousin: Hemp Cord

Just add a kraft 5x7" card blank and some brown cardstock for matting and the tree trunk to the recipe and away you go!

I'd love to know what you think of tonight's project and if it inspires you to make something similar yourself!

Take care and stay warm!
Speak to you all again very soon
