Inspiration Friday has a new home!

Goooooddddd Evvvvveeennning Everyone!!!

How are you today... Hope you have had a good one.  It has been a beautiful sunny day in the city down here... the rain has just set in but I'm not complaining after such glorious blue skies.  However, it is meant to be dropping in temperature over the next few days with snow and such like so where ever you are do take care of yourselves and stay safe and warm.

I have to report that we are in mourning at James Towers with the last of the Christmas cake being eaten this evening.  I am delighted that it was a resounding success in all quarters who partook. Mr James has requested a similar creation for his birthday but I don't think I will make such a big one for that.... Oh I do love a bit of home made cake don't you?  I had some lovely baking books within my Christmas box this year which I can't wait to peruse so expect some cake based posts coming in recent weeks and months!!! YUM YUM!!!

Anyway, as so often is the case I have digressed!

Those of you who follow my face book page "Becky James" will know that I have a regular feature where I post three pictures that have given me food for crafty thought this week.  Ok I have to be honest occasionally it turns out to be "Inspiration Saturday" or "Inspiration Thursday" but you know sometimes life just steps in the way and there's nothing wrong with a little variety!

I thought about whether to keep it on facebook or transfer it here and it seemed clear that moving it to the blog was the right way to go as we can keep it all together in one post and it will be much easier for you to look back and grab that inspiration whenever you need it rather than trawling through a massive number of individual facebook posts to find that one piccie that gets your creative juices flowing!

So (drum roll please!) I am delighted to announce the very first blog based "Inspiration Friday"!

This week I have been overwhelmed with pictures that I could have shared with you so whittling it down to three was a very difficult task but in the end I decided on the following pictures from two of my very favourite companies Unity Stamps and Graphic 45..

Many of you know that amongst my many "slight crafting problems" stamps rate highly along with inks, ribbons, paper flowers, buttons, paper, dies... need I go on - I'm sure you get the picture! And Unity Stamps are just so more-ish.. I so need, want, must have these new ones!  I may have to chat to my friendly local Unity Stamp stockist to see if he can get hold of any of them... They make me smile so much.

And if you are a fan of vintage you will love the Graphic 45 tag.

Anyway I hope you find these new pictures of gorgeous papercrafting projects a source of inspiration - I would love to know what projects you go on to create after ambling through these stunning designs...

I will close now and wish you a good night's sleep and a fabulous Saturday. I am demonstrating tomorrow at the Market Gallery in the Marlands Centre in Southampton from 10am to 4pm - do pop along if you can, it would be lovely to see you!

I'll be back tomorrow - at the moment with more projects from my demos... but tomorrow is another day so who know where whim may take me.

Tatty bye for now
